 Lee Freeman is the local historian at the Florence-Lauderdale Public Library since 1997. He was born, raised and educated in Lauderdale County and am a board member of several local historical/historical preservation boards: the Alabama Renaissance Faire; the Mayor's Walk of Honor; the Natchez Trace Genealogical Society; the Tennessee Valley Historical Society; etc. I've written one book (a Medieval dictionary/encyclopedia), and had articles published in Alabama Heritage and The Journal of Muscle Shoals History.
