Scott Meeks— Ponds, Springs, and Plantations: Examining 12,000+ Years of Human-Environment Interactions in the Middle Tennessee River Valley
The Florence Indian Mound Museum, in partnership with the Tennessee Valley Authority, is sponsoring a virtual speaker series as a part of an effort to raise awareness about looting in the Shoals area. The Shoals Archaeological Stewardship Virtual Speaker Series will feature a different presentation each month from March through October. On June 11th Scott Meeks will deliver his presentation “Ponds, Springs, and Plantations: Examining 12,000+ Years of Human-Environment Interactions in the Middle Tennessee River Valley,” where he will discuss various Native American and Euro-American archaeological sites throughout the Middle Tennessee River Valley.
