Arts Alive is the annual juried Arts Festival sponsored by the Kennedy-Douglass Volunteers. The festival takes place during the third weekend in May in downtown Florence, Alabama, in Wilson Park and throughout the Kennedy-Douglass Art Center adjacent to the park. The festival raises funds for Arts in Education Teacher Grants as well as art classes, workshops and programs at the Kennedy-Douglass Art Center. The festival is open to the public and free to all visitors.
