Sunday, April 21 - TYPEWRITER ART Presentation and Activity.
Typewriter art dates back to the invention of the first manual typewriter, and is different from computer generated art. It is so fascinating that one may be unable to determine that a piece of art was created by a typewriter. Elizabeth Renault presents a program that will explore the history of typewriter art, the variety of styes and processes used to create a piece using a typewriter, and review several typewriter artists and their works. . Following, Barb Hendricks will lead a hands-on activity - Work Art & Concrete Writing. Fun activities with letters, words, and images!
